In collaboration with WHO, Kanagawa Prefecture, which has been designated as one of Japan’s National Strategic Special Zones, is promoting the “Healthcare New Frontier” policy to ensure happiness and prosperity in the super-aging society and building an international network with government organizations and universities around the world.
The Kanagawa Prefectural Government is hosting an evening seminar during the World Health Assembly.

The theme for this year is “To Launch the Health Innovation School in 2019.”

At the seminar, there will be an announcement on the future vision and plans for the Health Innovation School, which will play a key role in the development of individuals capable of leading future innovation in the fields of health and healthcare.
The faculty members from the school will also give presentations on innovative technology and research in healthcare.
There will also be a get-together buffet after the seminar.
